Sprints was awesome!

I had a great time at Sprints, there should be pics and video around, I'll post links when I find stuff.

Thank you Kyle for being a great service crew, friend and chef! Thank you Chris for co-driving, I hope you had fun!

I won my class again on both days (being the only PGT car again), but also actually was 2nd overall the first day and either 1st or 2nd overall the second day I think.

I really had too much fun, I was just so happy to be racing again, the car really took a beating. The car is pretty bent, the course was rough and I wasn't slowing down for the giant ruts or blown beads.

But I don't have to fix it til October for Mt Hood, so I should have plenty of time to assess the damage.

I'm really tired this morning...

getting ready for Sprints

We got some work done on the car. Thank you Kyle and Kris and Joel!

We already did new motor mounts, and now have new sub-frame bolts and bushings, tranny mounts, and a pretty white passenger side mirror.
The suspension, brakes, and exhaust still look good. Now it just needs a good cleaning inside and out, alignment, and to get the skid plate back on.

Then we'll be off to Worker Sprints, August 8-9th, in Montesano, Washington!

drove the car today

I drove the rally car over to Kris' today so we can work on it later this week.
And my knee hardly hurts at all...
Yay! I'm so happy just from 20 minutes of driving the car through traffic across Hillsboro. I need to get more racing time!

Oh, and I'm posting pictures on facebook from the Idaho Rally. The next pics will be of my car.

Idaho Rally, July 9-11

I'm going to the Idaho Rally. But my car is not. It is looking sad in my driveway again.
I have a couple of little things and one big thing to get done on it. Since I've been using Kyle's MR2 for RallyCross I haven't had a ton of motivation to work on the Audi.
But I want to race so bad! Getting motivated, really, more every day, for sure...
The goal right now is to get me and the car ready for Worker Sprints in August. Wish me luck
